Lucky
Tubb & The Modern Day Troubadours

Lucky was born in Fort Worth Texas in 1971. He was
raised, in part, from the age of four in Tucson, AZ by
his
great grandparents CR and Margie Tubb. CR was brother to
Country Music Legend Ernest Tubb.
Lucky would soon become
accustomed to the country music dynasty he was born into.
In his late teens Lucky chose
to live with his father in
Forth Worth and there became enveloped into the outlaw biker
world. Having made a run of bad decisions,
Tubb learned to play the guitar at the age of
seventeen while serving a five year prison sentence in Texas.
During this time,
he practiced his craft and learned to
reflect and write about his life experiences in a true to life
fashion. Lucky’s music is
straight up honky tonk rendered
in an old-school authentic hillbilly style.

The
Original Comets
The music form that we call rock 'n' roll did not burst
forth fully-formed one day in the 1950's.
It evolved over many years, from many different musical
tributaries and from
the explorations and endeavors of myriad musicians from at
least the 1920's onwards.
However - it is certainly possible to acknowledge some of
the key architects of the music form
that revolutionized popular culture and the chronology of
their achievements...
there was one group of musicians that can truly be said to have been the
FIRST BAND of rock 'n' roll. That band was the
original incarnation of The Comets -
the musicians who provided the musical foundation for
singer Bill Haley from
1949 through the key years of their musical journey
together as rock 'n' roll pioneers.
The band was the foremost group in the musical revolution
that gathered steam in
the early 50's and culminated in the Big Bang of rock 'n'
roll.
